Our hub for the central Andes is Riobamba, the heartland of Ecuador, is surrounded by snow-capped mountain,. you can make day trips to beautiful lagoons, rural villages, and authentic indigenous markets. Three times a week you can take the famous train to the Devil's Nose. You can also hike the Inca Trail to Ingapirca Inca Ruins.

Cuenca, Loja, Vilcabamba and the South Andes
Cuenca, is a beautiful colonial city declared a UNESCO cultural heritage site in 1999, enjoy colonial architecture and art in its churches, plazas and museums. Nearby is town of Chordeleg in the Gualaceo valley, famous for its artistic jewelry in gold and silver, Banos de Duran and its thermal baths. In the area you find the Inca ruins at Ingapirca and the Cajas lakes. South of Cuenca are Loja the eco-city, Podocarpus national park and Vilcabamba valley.
The Amazon river basin and tropical rainforest tours in Ecuador
The Amazon rainforest in Ecuador covers an area of nearly 125.000 sq. Km (78.125 miles). Ecuador has a very easy access to the Amazon. Animals like tapirs and monkeys can be seen. Freshwater dolphins, caimans and snakes can be found as well, more than a hundred species of brightly-colored butterflies and other insects. Toucans, parrots and other species of birds exist within an incredible biodiversity of plants.
